She then obtained her doctor of dental surgery degree at the UT Health San Antonio School of Dentistry where she also became educated in advanced procedures in endodontics, cosmetic dentistry, restorative dentistry, and oral surgery. Dr. Garcia actively receives continuing education so she can advance her knowledge to offer the latest dental treatments at Savannah Smiles Dental.
Dr. Garcia is a native Texan who grew up in the Rio Grande Valley area. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, outdoor activities, and spending time with her husband, Sean, and their French bulldog, Thor.
Hygienist did an excellent job on cleaning my teeth and Dr Garcia was very friendly and explained some dental issues that need to be done in the near future

This was my third visit with Dr Garcia, and as with my previous visits, I was very pleased the way I was treated. She and her staff are very friendly and professional. This atmosphere certainly reduces the anxiety of visiting "the dentist".

The transition from retiring Dr Durnford to new ownership for Savanah Smiles Dental has been seamless and flawless from my perspective. New staff are friendly and absolutely professional. I don't particularly enjoy dental visits, but Dr Garcia put me at ease right away. She has an affable personality and she exudes confidence and professionalism. Robert, the dental tech who conducted my cleaning, was exceptional and we had a lot in common. It was like running into an old friend you haven't seen for awhile. He took care of my teeth and did a wonderful job. This is the place to come for your dental needs!
