"Great dentist practice!! We have been coming to this dentist while it was still Durnford dental. I will say there were some "growing pains" with the new dentist taking over. But it's a very professional establishment. They have been open and honest about the treatments we need and what is covered by our insurance. I also totally forgot about our appointment yesterday, they called, I freaked out because I didn't have a reminder on my calendar, and instead of giving me a no show fee, they got me in the next day because they could tell it was an honest mistake. We will continue to come here and I recommend it to anyone who previously saw Dr. Durnford and anyone else looking for a local, family friendly practice. I also believe Dr. Durnford chose his replacement carefully, and we who went to Dr. Durnford faithfully, should give them a chance."

"Dr Montemayor and staff are truly professional, polite, and extremely friendly. The worked with me and my insurance to get figures for the 2 crowns I needed. Was able to pay in 3 payments. There was a concern with 1 of the crowns in the way it was made/fit that they required the lab to remake it, TWICE. The 3rd one was a perfect fit ! ! If this isn't professional, then please tell me what is. It took several weeks to get the insurance figured out and once done it was smooth sailing. According to my insurance, adjustments are forth coming. Most definitely a solid 10 out of 10 ! ! Glad I can stay local a dentist I have all the convedince to handle my dental work. DJR"
"I recently had some dental work done at Savannah Smiles Dental and had the BEST experience ever! OMG.....from the time I checked in to the time I check out, I felt I was in good hands. I explained that I was nervous and they all were so gentle throughout my visit. Dr. Walker explained my treatment before, during, and after. I felt that the price I paid for my treatment was certainly what I expected and well-worth the investment in my dental care. I already made an appointment for my husband!"
"I have been going to the previous Dental Clinic (Dr. Dunsford) for many years and always had a wonderful experience. However, I will not go back to the Clinic Savannah Smiles Dental that took over his dental practice. I recently had dental work performed, I provided my insurance and not at any point was I informed that my dental insurance is now out of network. When I went to check out I thought my portion was high but didn’t say anything. I came home looked up my policy and called back the dental office to find out why my bill was high. At that point that is when I was informed my insurance is now out of network. A few weeks have passed and now I receive another bill for additional payment. Basically, I have saved nothing by having dental insurance with my latest dental procedure. It would have been nice to know before I agreed to proceed on a dental procedure that my insurance was out if network. This is not good customer service and certainly not the values of the previous owner."
"The transition from retiring Dr Durnford to new ownership for Savanah Smiles Dental has been seamless and flawless from my perspective. New staff are friendly and absolutely professional. I don't particularly enjoy dental visits, but Dr Garcia put me at ease right away. She has an affable personality and she exudes confidence and professionalism. Robert, the dental tech who conducted my cleaning, was exceptional and we had a lot in common. It was like running into an old friend you haven't seen for awhile. He took care of my teeth and did a wonderful job. This is the place to come for your dental needs!"

"Overall good experience. However, was a bit shock by my bill. I have been going to Dr. Dunsford for some years and my bill was never that high for cleaning and X-rays. I had elected not to have dental insurance and just pay as I go but the amount I paid was a bit too much. Additionally, not sure why the Dental tech can’t do the X-rays and someone else has to do it. Why so many different X-rays need to be taken, not sure. I think perhaps with the change over patients should have been informed of the higher price for service. I’m debating either getting dental insurance or perhaps moving on. My 4 stars have more to do with price than service. I would probably only recommend to a friend if they have dental insurance."

"This was my second visit, and I was very pleased both times. A couple of months ago I had a tooth ache, and I was able to see Dr Garcia that same day. The business had just changed hands, and Dr Garcia could not schedule me soon enough for a "deep scaling" that might save me the aching tooth. That same day I got an appointment with another Dr for the "deep scaling". Unfortunately, the scaling did not help. Dr Garcia extracted the tooth, and I now have nice looking "flipper". Dr Garcia was patient in explaining the procedure and kept me calm with her compassionate professionalism."
